![]() Our Purpose The
purpose of these courses is: With the rapid introduction of new businesses entering the Personalized Magnets, Stickers, Mousepads and other Heat Transfer business, new materials, new processes.....the Heat Transfer Institute has been formed to show you how to properly apply the different heat transfers onto various products. Additionally, we teach you how to print your own refrigerator magnets, stickers, magnetic signs and more. To make you proficient in the proper use of heat transfers and to consistently produce a high quality product. Each month, untold numbers of people enter the "t-shirt" business. Some think all they have to do is get a bunch of shirts, an iron and any printer and start printing. Others who have the cash, go way overboard and spend money on equipment/supplies they don't really need. Yes! There is a difference between a sublimation ink heat transfer and a pigmented ink heat transfer. No, you cannot heat press a sublimation transfer onto 100% cotton as the design will wash out after the first wash. What do I need? What size heat press? Why can't I use my iron at home do to this? How do I sell? Who are my customers? How do I sell online? What kind of ink and printer do I need? How do I find my selling price. Magnets are NOT heat transfered. They are printed using your own inkjet printer! These questions and more are covered in the video cd's and we have found through years of actual experience that, with the proper training, wasted inks, t-shirts, etc... are just about eliminated due to bad imprinting, ghosting, etc... We started selling our video cd's on Ebay in 2003 and have sold well over 1,000 video cd's. The thank you's and comments we have received confirm that our video cd's are working. We teach you how to actually print your transfer. We show you how to create your own magnets, stickers, magnetic signs, and more! As each subject is so wide, varied and complex, we felt it best to stick to the basics as you are already familiar with printing from your inkjet printer. By following the easy step-by-step instructions and seeing the actual videos on how to apply the different heat transfers onto the various products, you will have the working experience and confidence needed for you to start and run your own business. Magnets are NOT heat transfered. They are printed using your own inkjet printer! The producing of magnets and the application of heat transfers is not rocket science material. You are provided with the most up to date techniques and video CD's and with the use of step-by-step instructions and step-by-step photographs, we teach you in the fastest and easiest manner.
