Using my finger, I apply light pressure and go from left to right over the entire overlay including going of the edges of the overlay so it sticks to the work table . I move my fingers forward, pushing the overlay down lightly against the vinyl print. You can peel back the overlay and go in sections or you can tilt the overlay forward and let your fingers peel the overlay from the backing while you are pushing down on the overlay and pushing it forward at the same time. Just remember to apply light pressure.
